If I want to hatch my own eggs, how many roosters should I have for how many hens?
Hi there – we usually recommend 8 – 10 hens per rooster. Hope that helps!
How long will a broader like your last for the chicks
How long do they need to have the lamp at what age
Your brooder will usually last for about 8 weeks or so – which is about how long you will need to keep the lamp on them. Decrease the temprature by about 5 degrees each week until it matches outside temps.
Thanks!
